Day 07 — I went to see a psychic, and was given the opportunity to ask three questions – I would ask…

Well… I really don’t believe in psychics. So I honestly don’t know what I would ask, or if I would just turn around and just leave. To me, they are simply entertainment.

A psychic (play /ˈsaɪkɪk/; from the Greek ψυχικός psychikos—"of the mind, mental" some times spelled phycics) is a person who professes an ability to perceive information hidden from the normal senses through extrasensory perception (ESP), or who is said by others to have such abilities. The word "psychic" is also used to describe theatrical performers, such as stage magicians, who use techniques such as prestidigitation, cold reading, and hot reading to produce the appearance of such abilities.

To play along, I will lay out some potential questions, as the above statement would be pretty boring to read just by itself.

1. What has been the biggest turning point in my life so far?

This is something it would be interesting to see what they come up with. If it would be general (The birth of your first child, your marriage day, etc) or if it would be more specific (The day you decided to be yourself, and take off the mask, when so-and-so broke your heart, when you decided to break it off with your friend so-and-so) And while any one of the examples could be accurate, the answer would be fun to hear.

2. Is there someone on the ‘other side’ waiting for me? (for whatever reason)

This is just one of those curiosity killed the cat questions. Like anyone, I have lost friends, family and loved ones.

3. Was I born into the correct time period? If not, which one do I belong to?

Again, a curious question, but this one I sometimes wonder to myself.
